Jamie Ekern

Jamie Ekern is the Junior Designer & Project Manager at Elizabeth Gill Interiors, Inc.   Jamie began working with Elizabeth as client, hiring EGI to design her own house in Bethesda. She was enamored with Elizabeth's residential design process and how beautifully everything came together and her interest in interior design was heightened.

Jamie has both a unique ability to listen fully to clients and problem solve under pressure while also having a very high taste level and gifted design eye. The design process relates to Jamie's childhood experience with her mother "turning houses into homes" following numerous family relocations.

Jamie holds a B.A. from Stanford University and an M.S.F.S. from Georgetown University.  She raises her two children with her husband and spends much of her free time attending baseball games.
