Summertime in Rhode Island

As you may know, I recently celebrated a milestone birthday with my family at Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. We were very happy with our selection as it was truly a magical experience, from start to finish, at this romantic, seaside property. Our room overlooked both the croquet court and ocean and, off in the distance, we could see Taylor Swift's mansion (gorgeous!). Festive balloons were waiting for us upon arrival and the front desk manager cheerfully greeted our puppy, Dapper, and remembered his name throughout our stay. 

Although I loved the beach and idyllic summertime surroundings, my favorite part of our stay was my birthday dinner at Coast, which featured an incredible four-course tasting menu with unparalleled service. This was my favorite meal I can remember and my husband even worked with the dining room manager to prepare a special marble cake for me at the end of our dinner.
