Gorgeous Gallery Walls

Gallery Wall in our Living Room

Is there a wall in your home that you can't figure out how to dress? Do you have a collection of photographs or artwork that you want to enjoy but can't find a home for? Enter the gallery wall.

Creating a gallery wall is a great way to present a collaboration of traditional and modern artwork, different scaled pieces (as shown above), or uniformed photographs hung in a grid pattern. Whether you are trying to achieve an eclectic vibe in a living space or a uniformed clean wall in a hallway, gallery walls are not one size fits all.

First, take into account the space you have and then the pieces you have, as space will often dictate what you can hang. Next, find the pieces you want to display and decide what look you desire. I suggest scrolling through my Pinterest Board for inspiration. Maybe you want everything to be the same size, in the same type of frame, with equal spacing (see photo below), or you may want completely different pieces that bring you joy and display them at different heights, etc. I hope this article helps you think of a new way to decorate that white wall or create a unique pattern to showcase your beloved art collection.

Yes, mirrors can go on your gallery wall. If you have a large piece, then place that piece first and work your way out with smaller pieces.

Consider using the molding on your wall as a frame and don't be afraid to take advantage of high walls.
