Tablescape Treats

Dinnertime in our home is sacred. In fact, one of my favorite parts of the day is coming home and cooking dinner while my husband chats with me about his day. It is our special time to decompress and catch up. My husband doesn't cook, but he always sets the table when dinner is ready and we always use our fancy wedding china as a way to celebrate the end to our work day and the beginning of our evening together.
I highly recommend spending a few extra minutes creating a pretty table setting whenever you can. Add fresh flowers as a centerpiece for the week or use your good linen napkins. These small enhancements not only elevate the overall experience, but also create a distinctive personal touch for you and whoever is lucky enough to dine with you. Scroll through for a few of my favorite inspirational tablescapes and entertaining tips:

Flatware is also an important element in your tablescape design. For example, you may choose something simple and sleek for an everyday meal or a more intricate pattern for special occasions.

Consider a runner of greens in lieu of flowers and even mix and match flatware.

Incorporate colored glassware if you're feeling sparkly, and don't forget to occasionally move the party outdoors and dine al fresco for dessert!
